Group Services: Community Health Education



  

Prevention, overall wellness and life balance are all essential to one’s well-being and quality of life!  

Nancie provides community health education with an emphasis on positive psychology, overall mental health and stress reduction. She is trained to disseminate several evidence-based practices such as the Coping with Work and Family Stress Intervention (Yale University). She has also received 30 hours of mind – body training in positive psychology from Harvard University’s Benson-Henry Institute.


With an interest in health promotion, Nancie’s focus and energy is based on health and wellness rather than disease and pathology. In other words, she focuses on the prevention and solutions as opposed to the problem.


Examples of workshop topics include how to live successfully with a chronic illness; mental health for caregivers; general stress reduction overview; and stress reduction using positive psychology. Nancie also offers both individual and group life coaching.
