Group Services: Community Health Education

Prevention, overall wellness and life balance are all essential to one's well-being and quality of life!
Nancie conducts workshops with an emphasis on stress reduction, positive psychology and overall mental wellness. She helps people to change their negative thought patterns and become more aware of what they can do for themselves in order to prevent unneccesary stress and overwhelm. She is trained to disseminate several evidence-based (proven!) programs such as the Coping with Work and Family Stress Intervention (Yale University). She has also received 30 hours of mind-body training in positive psychology from Harvard University's Benson-Henry Institute.
With an interest in health promotion, Nancie's focus and energy is based on holistic health & wellness rather than disease and pathology. In other words, she focuses on the prevention and solutions as opposed to the problem.
Examples of workshop topics include Happiness 101; Five Steps to Flourishing in Life; Stress Reduction for a Balanced Life; Coping with Work and Family Stress; Living Well with a Chronic Illness; Change Your Thoughts and Mindset for Positive Mental Health; How to Achieve Your Personal and Professional Goals; and Mindfulness and Cognitive Restructuring 101. Nancie also offers both individual and group coaching.
