About Nancie

Nancie Vito, MPH, CHES
A dream that came true for me was becoming self-employed and living an authentic life, focusing on what I am passionate about and believe in. Years prior, I struggled when I wasn't feeling fulfilled or complete in my jobs, often not agreeing with the philosophies taught. I jumped from position to position and from school program to school program. I was even chronically sick for a couple of years!
My life changed when I immersed myself in studying mind/body connectedness, positive psychology, mindfulness and universal principles. I had the realization that in fact I had been contributing to - and even creating - my own stress and overwhelm! I made the decision to be fully present, aware and mindful, without holding myself back from creating the life I want. Simply learning to control my thoughts shaped me by giving me the courage to live the life of my dreams and not just think about it as "one day." I now aim to focus on prevention, wellness, and “flourishing” in life rather than focusing on and reacting to illness and other negative situations.
In 2008, I earned a Master’s in Public Health, with emphasis on Prevention and Mental Health. During my last semester, I completed a graduate level course on “Strategies in Stress Reduction,” which further emphasized that I could help others live well. I went on to become a Certified Health Education Specialist and entered into a Certified Coach program. Out of utter faith, I took the leap into self-employment in order to help others grow and achieve their goals while serving an accountability partner. An “a-ha” moment for me was when I realized that when we focus on the negative, the negative will keep showing up for us in our lives because that is what we are etching in our brains!
I have continued to study and learn about the importance of mindset, personal growth, mind/body connectedness, wellness and positive psychology. I became a coach because I know that I can help others find themselves, uncover inspiration within, achieve life balance, and attain personal and professional goals - while feeling less stuck, stressed and overwhelmed!
Find you and flourish! Live with passion and purpose.
